Put simply, financial planning is ensuring that you are as well prepared as you can be to meet the financial demands that will face you at different stages of your life.
A good financial plan should be dynamic – looking at the ‘today’, the ‘tomorrow’, and of course the ‘what if’. We can help you create and update your personal financial plan – looking at your saving and investments, protection and retirement planning needs. Our team of qualified, financial advisors will help you with all aspects of the financial planning process, helping to ensure that you have the right financial plan in place for you, your family and your business.
Our aim is to help you achieve financial peace of mind for you and your family.
Our qualified financial advisors will undertake a full financial review, establish your personal attitude to risk and follow with a comprehensive report detailing our recommendations.
Step 1: Facts & Goals
We will discuss your current circumstances and short and long-term financial goals, as well as establishing your attitude to risk. We will also discuss :
- Long-term security for your family
- Retirement planning
- Tax-efficient savings and investments
- Estate planning
Step 2: Analysis & Planning
Following the initial financial review, we will assess the information provided during the review meeting and make calculations for the various identified needs. For example; calculation of the level of protection cover required, the required level of pension funding and perhaps the required savings levels to achieve a target lump sum. We will review your existing products and determine their performance, value for money and if they match your risk profile.
Step 3: Discussion and implementation
In your detailed personalised report, we will make our recommendations and describe how your attitude to risk will impact on the choice of investment products. The recommendations may also include specific products which we may feel are most suitable for you. Investment recommendations will also explain the level of risk associated with those products. After review and possible amendments, we will implement your personalised financial plan.
Step 4: Ongoing reviews
We recommend an annual review of your financial plan and portfolio. You will find that your needs will change over time and you may need to make change to your original plan. This may include re-balancing of your investment portfolio as financial markets change.
